Thousand Yard Prayer

Thousand Yard Prayer disappear for years at a time, studying ethnomusicology and ancient lore. Then they turn up unexpectedly and make some tunes. A four track CD, Sympathy For Hosea, was released in 2002 and in early 2012 this was followed by a four track download only release, World Without End. Releases appear regularly now: Nine Ships, Truthseeker, Seven Towers and Golden Section are all available from Bandcamp HERE.

‘I don’t usually attract to dub-step, but Thousand Yard Prayer seems to make it sophisticated and interesting enough to keep me listening to the next track too.’

‘This is a profoundly good series of tracks, well crafted into an album that pulls you into its mysteries.’
